(Harrisburg) — A former manager for a Cumberland County borough is facing charges of polluting two creeks.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane is bringing six charges against former Camp Hill Borough Manager Gary Kline, including violations of the Clean Streams Law.

He’s also charged with illegal dumping and unlawful conduct.

Kane alleges Kline, without the correct permits, authorized discharging millions of gallons of untreated sewage into the Conodoquinet Creek and Yellow Breeches Creek during heavy rains.

At an initial arraignment on the charges Tuesday, Kline was released on his own recognizance.

A prelimary hearing on the charges comes next Tuesday.
