A multimedia library and e-learning environment

WITF is once again joining with Colonial Williamsburg to provide a series of electronic field trips. These monthly programs are distributed live to PBS stations, allowing students to participate in an interactive historical discussion. The 2014-2015 series begins on Oct. 9 with “The Global Economy.” This episode will examine international trade routes of the 18th Century. All the programs in the series — which continues through May 2015 — are live so that classrooms can chat and interact through message boards, email and Twitter. They occur at 1 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month.
