(State College) — Some wintry weather is expected to hit portions of the midstate today into tomorrow.

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a winter weather advisory for Juniata, Mifflin, Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties from 5:00 p.m. today until 5:00 a.m. tomorrow. Those areas could see between one and three inches of snow.

The forecast across the state has prompted the postponement of all four high-school football playoff games scheduled for today. Four games were rescheduled for tomorrow because of the winter storm moving into the Northeast.

A partial clearing is predicted in most areas tomorrow, but it’s expected to be cold with daytime highs in the mid-20s in the northwest and the low 40s in the southeast.
