(Lancaster) —At McCaskey High School, an initiative is aimed at heading off disputes and keeping fights or bullying incidents from escalating.
Teacher Frank Albrecht runs the school’s Peer Mediation program.
Using specially trained students known as peer mediators, classmates in conflict are led through a process where they can talk out their disagreements without violence.
