Children’s Miracle Network breaks record for Penn State Hershey

(Harrisburg) — A midstate hospital will receive some $3.4 million in funding as a result of a record-breaking fundraiser.

Children’s Miracle Network has raised a portion of the money during its annual telethon for Penn State Hershey Childrens Hospital.

The 15-hour show hosted at the witf Public Media Center caps fundraising efforts by thousands of people and more than 135 organizations.

The total surpassed last year’s by more than $100,000.

Since 1984, Children’s Miracle Network has raised more than $47 million to benefit Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
