HealthSmart in a Minute: Financial Incentives for Doctors
Under the Affordable Care Act there’s a new emphasis on keeping people well rather than treating them when they’re sick. There will be new financial incentives for doctors to reach out to patients. For example doctors may be rewarded for making sure patients with chronic diseases are managing their conditions.
Here’s how that’ll work from the doctor’s perspective:
